showcase:Sophie Dress with added lace details
ยท One min read
I made a sophie slip dress and added a lace window under the bust. To adjust the pattern for the lace window, I simply marked off the tops of the skirt pieces by how much lace I wanted, plus seam allowance. It came out to about 3 inches. Then I cut it out to make new pieces for just the lace strips. I did this for both the front and back. From there I just made sure everything still lined up and I was good to go! I also added some lace trim around the neckline. (Kinda hard to see in the picture because it's all black.) Overall, a very nice pattern and pretty simple for beginners! I'm looking forward to making this in more colors for myself!
