showcase:Patchwork leather wahid!

I made a Wahid out of scrap leather for my LARP character (you can kinda see my 3d printed artificer artifact puzzle in the photo lol)! I made a single layer mock up with cotton canvas and tailored it to fit tightly, and cut pieces of leather scrap and glued + basted them to the wrong side, covering the darts to sculpt it to my body shape. I covered the gaps between the edges of pieces with a wide and tight zig zag stitch using multiple shades of brown to give a mossy/bark-like look and finished with heavy duty snaps for the closure! This is my third Wahid and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and it worked really well for the LARP:)
