Shale tries to estimate the size of your bum by comparing the seat to the seat back measurement and adjusts the height of the waistband at the back accordingly.

This option lets you adjust this estimation by adding (or removing) from the waistband angle when you look at it from the side.

For example, setting this option to 10 degrees will add 10 degrees to the waistband angle and make the waistband at the back higher as a result.
